Doors & Screens

Our range of aluminium personnel/pedestrian doors are manufactured from commercial aluminium sections making them ideal for high frequency commercial applications like high street shop entrances, schools, hospitals, and offices. All doors and frames are individually cut, and fabricated using skilled fabricators and the latest machinery. A variety of ironmongery and glazing options are available to ensure each door is individually tailored to suit your requirements.

There are two main door arrangements available:- sliding & swinging. The swing door arrangement works off a pivot system and is available with concealed transom closers or automatic operators. The sliding arrangement is available in manual operation or with an automatic operator.

Automatic Operators

Our range of automatic operators are all assembled within a controlled environment where all wiring and cable containment is carried out and tested prior to going to site. With the implementation of DDA regulations, automatic operators are the first step to disabled access solutions. Available for both swinging and sliding door arrangements. These operators can also be installed to existing doors as well as new doors.

The Disability Discrimination Act

The DDA places a duty on all service providers to remove or alter physical features in their buildings that make access to services impossible or unreasonably difficult for a person with disabilities.

This means all small business including shops, restaurants, pubs, clubs, and gyms, need to be thinking about what alterations they can make to their premises to ensure that, as far as possible, disabled customers are treated in the same way as non-disabled customers. Providing independent access is where Doorforce can help you to adhere to the act without breaking the bank.

With over 25 years of technological development, Doorforce has earned a reputation for reliability and safety, making us one of today’s leading automatic door suppliers.
